Toilet repair
Running, leaking, weak flush or blocked — most toilet faults are fixed in one visit with parts off the van.
The usual faults
Constantly running
Nearly always the flush valve or the fill valve. Worth fixing quickly — a running toilet quietly wastes hundreds of litres a day, which shows up on a water meter. If you want to work out which it is first, read why your toilet keeps running.
Water on the floor
Either the pan connector behind the toilet, the cistern seal, or the fill valve overflowing internally. Worth acting on — a slow leak at floor level rots the flooring long before it looks serious.
Weak or partial flush
Usually a siphon or flush valve that's no longer sealing, sometimes a partial blockage further down.
Blocked
We'll clear it and, if it keeps happening, look at why — a repeatedly blocking toilet is usually a symptom of something in the pipework, not bad luck.
